Philippine Calamity

Since earthquakes are not expected to occur, the Philippine government especially the local officers of Davao City calls for German Geologist of the GFZ for help of gathering data (e.g. https://www.volcanodiscovery.com/earthquakes/2018/12/29/03h39/magnitude7-Philippines-quake.html) 

The data was gathered a while from December to January, since earthquakes sill occur in moderate but sometimes catastrophic due to the Balut island located at Sarangani (active underwater volcano spots). This land had a wide scale of geographic land and enriched with underwater volcanic structures. 

The earthquake happens to be from this land unto the big archipelago of Mindanao. 

Earthquakes are deadly and unexpected to happen throughout years, many are victim from this catastrophic occur from nature itself, nobody can stop it but people learns how to survive from it and least the casualties. 

The said magnitude 7.1 are said to create Tsunamies that could affect some coasts near Sarangani. Tsunamies are not the only concern of the NDRRMC also the earthquake itself so the NDRRMC with the help of the other government units such as DOH (Department of Health) and other units are meant to be prepared and ready to rescue and taught people in nationwide scales. 

The government as expected are on duty to teach families, schools, and establishment for free to have the preventive measures and procedures when earthquake occurs. With the help of the NDRRMC or the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council the provinces of Davao Occidental are prioritize with the earthquake drill procedures the examples are  like the common Dock, Cover, and Hold which the chances of survival are possible. As of earthquake occurs people must leave everything, find a hard material to cover the head for it must be safe from the falling debris from the establishments when earthquake occurs. Panicking are not helpful, mind must be at east in order to focus on what to do next then find wide spots where debris or objects are not free to fall.

The nationwide earthquake drill must be done for schools, offices, establishments, homes and especially Barangays like other calamities in order to people to have knowledge and precautions of everything.
